Adult & Youth Classes
*Drawing on The Right Side of The Brain- Based on the popular book written by Betty Edwards. Learn to draw the easy way, by relearning how to “see” what you draw using the intuitive right side of your brain. Class is given in two 4 week sessions.
Part I - Tues. Nov 4 - Dec 2 Part II – Tues. Jan 6 – 27 Time: 7 - 8:30 Tuition: $55 per session +supplies

*Art Fundamentals – Instruction in basic drawing and painting techniques. Will cover the basics of mixed-media and give a sampling of techniques to help students find their preferred medium. Ongoing Thursdays, 7 – 9 pm. Please call ahead to confirm. Tuition: 4 sessions $50 or $15 drop-in rate.

*Studio Nights – Are you looking for a place to network, be inspired and be creative with fellow artists? Set aside Thursdays to be your time to explore your creativity. Bring your independent project and get helpful suggestions from our instructor. Enjoy critique sessions for your art. Ongoing Thursdays Time: 7-9 pm $50 for 4 sessions Drop-ins $15 Drop-in for your first session FREE for a limited time.

*Music, Meditation and Watercolor – Just in time for to help as a pre-holiday stress reliever. Come to the center for a relaxing evening of gentle music, soothing herb teas, candlelight and playful watercolor painting. Absolutely NO ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
All supplies provided Wednesday, Dec 10 7:00-9:00 pm Experience 2 hours of bliss for only $25 + $15 supply fee.

Youth Art Programs

*Art Explorers - In this class, students learn a variety of practical skills including cooperation, group decision making, compromise and sharing all while learning practical art skills and working with artistic materials. Emphasis is placed on creative interaction with their peers and teachers. Group and individual art projects. Ages 5 – 12 IMPORTANT: Registration deadline: Nov 3 Wednesdays, Time: 5 - 6:00 pm Session I - Nov 5, 19 Session II- Dec 3, 17 Tuition: $25 per session (Supply fee $10)

*Advanced Art- Art appreciation with a hands-on approach. Students are exposed to master works and are further instructed to incorporate new ideas into their own projects. Geared for students that will do independent study and experimentation outside class. Techniques covered will include printmaking, painting, color theory, sculpture and collage. Projects throughout the year may require additional supply fees.
