Cheryl’s
Green Room Studio –
It looks like Cheryl has completely taken over the green room
at The Creativity Center, and now it’s her official
art studio. However, she did say that she was willing to share
the space with the students.
In any case, she’s talking about a new series of chakra
painting and sculptures that’s happening now. By the
way, what’s a chakra?
You’ll need to come out to see what she’s up to
before she takes over the whole building. Come by some Thursday
night to join her for theStudio , or if you’ve
never done art, you could join her Art Foundations class.

to keep your New Years Resolution this year?
Join a small group of people to learn ways to make
those commitments stick. Learn how to set goals that are positive
and personal, and realistic ways to achieve them.
Through art and creative goal setting you will find new meaning
for the words "will power". Talent in art is not
necessary. With only four weeks, one hour a week, you can
begin making important changes.
The group will meet for 4 consecutive Tuesdays, from 7-8 p.m.
January 13, 20 ,27 and February 3. The cost is $50.
The group will be headed by Jodi Aker, MAT, ATR-BC, Board
Certified Art Therapist. Ms. Aker has years of experience
helping others set personal goals and developing plans to
carry them out. She understands the stresses each new year
brings and has helped many overcome obstacles in their lives.
